The order is confirmed and stock is reserved the moment it's placed — the courier collects payment at the door. This is on for every order until a card gateway is connected.

An order paid this way stays “Awaiting payment” until you confirm the transfer arrived — set it to Pending from the order screen once you've checked your bank statement.
Card, Apple Pay, Tabby and Tamara aren't connected yet.
No gateway has been chosen (see the build plan) — checkout runs on the two methods above until one is.

Express rate, courier choice and boutique collection are not built yet.
Tax
Why this mattersUAE retail prices are quoted VAT-inclusive. Turning this off would
show tax added at checkout, which reads as a surprise charge and costs conversions.

One account runs this console.
There is no team list to maintain and no permissions to get wrong. Because that single
account can do everything, an authenticator app is required — a password on its own is
not enough to get in.

Two-factor authentication

Every sign-in asks for a six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. The code changes every 30 seconds, so a stolen password on its own is useless.

Recovery codes
Eight one-time codes for the day you lose your phone. Print them and keep them somewhere
other than the shop.
If both the phone and the codes are lost, recovery goes through your
IT support — identity is confirmed before access is restored. That is deliberate.
